PreK B Masterworks project!

 Last week, we got to visit the art room and learn about the type of painting we were going to create 

for the Masterpiece project!

It will be an Eric Carle piece and it is beautiful!

 Today, we got to start on our project.

Today we painted and in a week or so, we will begin to cut the pieces we painted.

This is a work in progress, so we will keep you updated as we go along!

Exciting Tuesday activities...

 A group of us helped make homemade vanilla ice cream!

 Even though only some of us volunteered to help make the ice cream, we

all got to taste it!

 We made ice rings for the animals outside!

We used cranberries and oranges!

Mitten Book

We took pictures today for a new class book called the Mitten Book.  If your child did not have gloves/mittens today, please send them in tomorrow so we can take their picture for the book.  Thanks!

Wonderful Wednesday

 We found a graph to chart our favorite ice cream flavors!

 We tried cookie dough, strawberry, and chocolate chip!

We didn't taste vanilla or chocolate because we probably already know what that taste like!

We discovered that cookie dough was our favorite!

Terrific Tuesday!

 As an extension to our sound last week, we made our 'G is for...' page for our ABC Book.

We painted on Glue and sprinkled Glitter!

To help us remember the sound of the week, we all got Index cards with our Initials on them!

Fun Thursday Activites!

 We made gumball, gum-drop creations!

 We used frosting and toothpicks to keep them together!

 For Spanish, we made patterns with different shapes!

We glued different pieces of food down for the shapes.
