Happy Birthday, Mikey!
Today we introduced our first Sound of the Week...B! We had a birthday celebration with brownies, created blue bubble art, and sorted Mrs. Robeano's bouncy balls. The bubble art was certainly a hit! PreK bees enjoyed blowing blue bubbles to create beautiful artwork.
Later, we asked students to choose two bouncy balls from the group that were similar or the same. Then we asked them to share why they chose the two they did and how they thought the balls were similar. Some students chose two identical bouncy balls and others chose two based on similarities with color or even patterns i.e., swirls, checkers, glitter, etc.
